I hope we will be able to use the roof space for furniture, and maybe even machines. At least, the other types of houses are coming. ![]() Being able to have a porch / balcony or utilize the roof space differently would be a luxury. I'd like options other than Stone / Wood for the base - such as Brick or Stucco. ![]() Obviously, we just don't want things to clip through walls, but they need to make the walls thicker anyway because currently the stair banister clips through them. Game devs for these types of games don't seem to understand that we would rather have clipping, and that we often can find nice ways to utilizing clipping to make stuff look extra cozy. That kinda stuff was a gripe of mine in Portia, too. I was sure there would be at least 1-2 more. I think they're planning on adding some kitchen stuff, but if your kitchen counter doesn't touch the wall, it's just going to look awkward. +1 for a bigger yard I was surprised when I bought the last upgrade. The system in Sandrock requires you to learn how to use it and that takes practice but once you get it down, your only limitation is you, money and the amount of land you own. I hated the house upgrading system in the beginning but it was because it's so foreign to what was in Portia. Totally hate what you did? Exit the game and load the save you made before trying to upgrade. Make sure you have a home repair kit to fix things inside like moving, removing or changing the stairs, if you added a second floor, or adding larger doorways between added on first floor additions. If you get something you think you might actually like, exit the upgrading system and run back to your place and take a look outside and inside. I've found the best way not to totally trash my place in learning to use the upgrading system is to make a manual save beforehand. However, IMHO there is a steep learning curve with the upgrading mechanics in Sandrock's. In Sandrock, your only limitation is your own creativity. It allows a lot more flexibility in design.
